What is a Moving Mural?
A Moving Mural is dynamic artwork for your space. Humanity's best technology is fused with keen vision to produce the ultimate viewing experience. It is composed of two distinct entities. The first are cinema quality scenes of stunning imagery that add potent aesthetic and meditative value to any space. The second is a customized uncompressed playback system which allows the client to access the highest quality visuals possible while complementing the decorative attributes of diverse spaces.

Do you have a Catalog?
We, in fact, have two catalogs. One consists of Moving Mural content. The other contains options (scope and decorative) for the playback system. Our content catalog exists in several different formats. The most extensive is a Moving Mural Kiosk (a complete playback system designed to showcase all pieces in our library) that can be accessed in person as scheduling allows. Our website also showcases selections available for purchase. Please note that the quality of the scenes on the web has been severely compromised by the need to create compressed web versions. They are not indicative of the true Moving Mural experience. We also release seasonal samplers as a way to preview new additions to our library to those who already own a Moving Mural.
How do I get pricing information?
Moving Murals start at $4995, but there are several components that go into the pricing of your Moving Mural, such as the number of scenes you purchase for your unit, the size of the LED panel you desire, the type of frame you select, and shipping costs. Please contact us with details regarding your specific inquiry and we will provide you with a quote.
How long do Moving Murals typically last?
Each scene varies in length, but the average moving mural last about 4 minutes.
Do you offer a product Warranty?
We discuss our product warranty here. Be assured that we will dutifully attend to any and all issues to the best of our ability, whether the product in question is under warranty or not. This is important to you. And it is important to us.
Can I order photographic prints or canvas from a Moving Mural I like?
Yes, due to the increased demand, we are currently developing a complete online gallery of print and canvas products. Please subscribe if you would like to be notified when the new store becomes available.
Can I purchase additional content for my Moving Mural playback system?
Yes, the Moving Mural library is an ever-expanding archive and we encourage clients to explore it regularly. Each media cartridge holds a certain amount of content. You can always purchase additional cartridges/scenes to utilize with your playback system.
Do you offer wholesale pricing or volume pricing?
When working with designers, architects, and project managers, we may offer special volume pricing so that your client reaps the benefit of working with a professional design firm. Call us to discuss your custom quote
Do you have a showroom or installations we can view?
When face-to-face meetings are possible, our sales associates generally meet with our clients at their office, home, or project site, where we bring the library of moving murals to you to view on an LED panel, computer or iPad. But because this is a family-owned business, we extend our family hospitality to you when circumstances permit, by opening our homes for viewing installed Moving Murals. This is done by appointment only.

What is a Certificate of Authenticity (COA)?
Our certificate of authenticity (COA) and hologram security system was designed to protect the security and genuineness of your limited edition, authentic Moving Murals art. Each piece of art has a serialized numbered hologram sticker placed directly on the content and a corresponding certificate of authenticity generated for each art selection. The combination of certificate and hologram assures that each Certificate of Authenticity relates to one particular piece of art.
Each mural is limited to 500 copies for worldwide distribution unless otherwise noted. By limiting the number released in each series, we protect the value of your art and the uniqueness of your selection.
What is a Limited Edition Collection?
Each scene in the general Moving Murals library will have a limited run of 500 installations, and then the content will be retired. There may be special limited editions that come out seasonally or annually, that will have a smaller distribution, ranging from 10 to 50. Owners of Moving Murals will receive first notification of these releases before the general public is notified. These special editions will increase the value of your Moving Murals collection and will be heirlooms for generations to come.
Why should I purchase a Moving Mural over Fine Art?
Today authorities and academics accept a broad range of art forms in the world of fine art and include a large range of media like printmaking, photography, film and digital media. Our Moving Murals are definitely creating a new frontier in the evolution of fine art. There is something new to discover from each and every viewing. What exactly is included with each Moving Mural purchase?
Each Moving Mural consists of the chosen panel (framed or unframed), the Limited Edition media cartridge, which contains the selected content, and the playback system into which the cartridge is inserted. Additional cartridges can be purchased to supplement your Moving Mural collection. You can purchase HDMI cables and specialized mounting systems from us or provide your own.

How do I place an order?

What size of Moving Murals do you offer?
We offer sizes appropriate for the most intimate of space all the way up to large scale lobbies; from residential options to industrial solutions.
Can I customize my order?
Yes, your order coordinator will walk you through your options.
How do I select my frame?
Framing options can be seen at an authorized Moving Murals Kiosk or online here. Options will be continuously updated as trends, demands and availability change. You will have the option to purchase 3" samples for $3.00 each, that will be shipped to you directly, if you would like to have a first hand look at color and style.
Do you have the capability to create a one of a kind frame and finish?
Yes, our frame moldings come to us in pre-finished lengths, but even so, once you have selected a frame style, a custom fit for your Moving Mural will require special adaptations for your space. For an additional cost, if you want to purchase a unique wood frame from a particular species of wood, our artisan wood-worker can fabricate one-of-a kind frames with custom finishes to meet your styling needs. Once you have selected your Moving Mural content, we will help you select the best framing option.
Can I purchase a 'One of a Kind' Moving Mural?
Yes, if a client comes to us with a specific request for original and completely exclusive Moving Mural content, the Epic Eye team will determine if the venture and opportunity suit the company's interests. Please contact us and we would be happy to discuss any such possibilities.
Can I order Moving Mural content without the panel or frame?
A Moving Mural is the sum of its parts. The artist creates a presentation that is color calibrated to each specific panel, and because each panel must meet the technological requirements of the display, we do not sell murals without the panel. That would be like asking an artist to sell the painting without the canvas. Our pricing includes the courtesy of a frame for enhancement. Once you own your mural, you are always welcome to re-frame it if your taste or decor changes. If you are doing a recessed installation, there will be a small discount applied to the purchase price, as we will subtract our wholesale cost of the frame materials.

How Long will it take for me to receive my Moving Mural?
This is an artisanal product, which is created to order. Our lead-time is 6 - 8 weeks, but, depending on the scope of the project, fulfillment time may vary. We understand the need to stay on target with your project deadlines and we will do whatever we can to meet your needs. Quantity and framing options will affect the delivery date, and remember that each panel is calibrated for your chosen scene(s) and hand-tuned by the artist. The color work is carefully dialed in to maximize effect. A thorough discussion about timing objectives will occur in our discovery meeting and this will help define and manage the expectations.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we welcome the opportunity to do business with clients outside the United States. Please contact us for a quote.
How will my shipment arrive?
Your Moving Mural will be shipped to your business or residence. No assembly is required.

How large of a Moving Mural can you produce?
Current panel technology is 100 inches. Projection options give us life-size and beyond. Inquire with us directly to discuss custom needs.
How do I operate my Moving Mural?
The Mural has very simple controls. To initiate, simply have the panel turned on and press the play button twice on the cartridge dock to loop your content indefinitely. Press "Stop" to freeze the image. If applicable, scroll from one scene to the next using the outlined buttons.
How much energy will my Moving Mural consume?
We've carefully incorporated LED panel technology. As a reference, the typical cost of running a 40-inch panel 24/7 for a year is $60.
What is the resolution of Moving Murals?
The content was captured at a minimum of 4K, but the Murals have been scaled down to 1920 x 1080 to conform to current panel technology. As new technology becomes available we will be able to re-master our footage for years to come.
Installation Questions
What are the installation considerations?
Installing a Moving Mural is as simple as installing a flat panel television on the wall. The Moving Mural requires power, so an outlet or electricity must be in the vicinity of the installation. Exact details can be discussed with your contractor. The cartridge dock must be within 25 feet of the installation location. Generally, the dock is concealed in some way on a shelf, in a closet, etc. Be sure there is a location suitable for the dock. Both the cartridge dock and the panel require power.
Can I install a Moving Mural myself?
We always recommend that you hire a contractor for the cleanest and safest installation. However, if you feel you have the experience to install it yourself you can certainly do so. Please note, that you may void sections or the entirety of your warranty by doing so. Epic Eye is not responsible for any damage if you choose to go this route.
